Merging of two Limburg family graphic companies marks a new era
Limburg's graphics sector is undergoing a remarkable change with the merger of two renowned family businesses: Haletra, founded by the Paredis family with a heritage of 75 years of craftsmanship, and Leën (Chapo), an industry pillar with more than 130 years of history under the Leën family's banner. The merger creates a unified entity under the name Drukkerij Haletra-Leën.
Werner and Dieter Paredis hand over the company and management to Stijn Leën.
In the Leën family, six family members will remain active in the new company. Werner Paredis will remain active as a member of the board of directors. The new company will continue under the name Haletra-Leën.
This merger is the result of shared values and a clear vision for the future, which has become increasingly concrete in recent months.
Operational consolidation also brings tangible benefits. All production activities are centralized in Haletra's modern facilities on the Grote Baan in Houthalen, where more than 60 dedicated employees will manufacture high-quality graphic products 24/7.
In Hasselt, we remain available for sales and advice.
